And finally they arrive!

10 weeks ago I ordered my custom wineador shelves and drawers from Forrest Price (www.wineadors.com) and today they arrived!

It took about 10 minutes to get them unpacked, attach the hardware and install them into the wine fridge.

I stuck on my calibrated hygrometers and presto:

The total cost of this complete build was about $800 start to finish. This is definitely a humidor that I will not outgrow for some time to come, if ever.

  1. Jeff, when you ran your fan cord in does it not break the seal in the door on both the top and the bottom of the cord? I tried to do the same as you and it's breaking the seal on both sides of the cord and I'm worried about losing temp and rh.

  2. Looks great! The only problem is the cost. You can avoid all of this now because NewAir took 4 of their cooler models and did what you did for much cheaper. Model numbers cc-100, cc-300, cc-121e, cc-280e

  3. Thanks for this Jeff - I've only just got into Cigar and Pipe Smoking and I want something like this for my currently small, but hopefully growing, cigar collection. Living in the UK I will no doubt have to adapt your plans, but this will give me a lot of help!
